Cebro Frozen Foods in a second generation, grower owned company. Our commitment to sustainability is both global and personal. The global aspect is a given, as all of our future is tied to building and maintaining business models that are truly sustainable. As to the personal aspect, the third generation is currently studying and doing their homework so that someday they may take the reigns of the company.

 

The following investments and business practices represent our commitment to sustainability:

 

- Grower Owned

Farming 6000+ acres within an average distance of two miles from our processing plant.

 

- From Seed to You

95% of Vegetables processed at Cebro Frozen Foods are grown by our owner.

 

- Water Conservation

All plant waste water is treated and used for crop irrigation. All plant water supply wells are registered with the EPA and are monitored through our recently formed Small Public Water District.

 

- Energy Conservation

We have a One Megawatt Solar Array Field that currently supplies approximately 30% of our electrical requirements. All plant lighting has been upgraded to high efficiency status. We have installed High Speed Roll-up zone separation doors throughout the facility to reduce refrigeration costs.
